VOLV is designed so that enterprises retain full control of their data at all times.
By default, VOLV does not store, log, or retain voice inputs, conversation transcripts, or operational data on VOLV servers. All data reads and writes occur directly between AVA and your existing enterprise systems. Your data never leaves your environment unless you explicitly configure it to do so.
This is not a policy commitment — it is how the system is built.
VOLV accesses only what is required to execute the workflows you have authorized.
Operational data — AVA connects to your enterprise systems via secure APIs to read and write data required to complete assigned tasks. This access is scoped strictly to the workflows defined by your configuration. We do not access data outside the defined scope.
Usage metadata — We may collect minimal metadata related to system performance and uptime — such as task completion rates and response times — to maintain service reliability. This metadata contains no customer operational data, personal information, or content from your workflows.
No accounts or payments — We do not require end-user sign-ups, store payment details, or create individual user accounts.
Data accessed through VOLV's integrations is used solely to execute the operational tasks you have assigned. VOLV does not use your operational data to train models, build datasets, or improve our systems without your explicit written consent.
By default, VOLV does not retain transcripts, logs, audio recordings, or operational records. Retention policies are entirely defined and controlled by each enterprise.
If an enterprise chooses to enable logging or retention within their own environment, that data is stored on the enterprise's own infrastructure under the enterprise's own policies.
VOLV does not sell, rent, or trade customer data under any circumstances.

Where cross-border data transfers are required, enterprises retain control over where their data is stored and processed. VOLV applies protections consistent with applicable international privacy standards. Enterprises may configure data residency requirements within their service agreement.
VOLV's services are designed for enterprise use only. We do not knowingly collect or process data from individuals under the age of 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable regulations. Any significant updates will be communicated through our website and via enterprise partners. We encourage enterprise customers to review this policy periodically.
